What are Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP)?

Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans, often abbreviated D-SNP, are unique plans available to some folks eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. D-SNPs provide an affordable Medicare option for those who qualify, with low or $0 monthly plan premiums. Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans fit the needs of qualifying members, often low-income Medicaid recipients with specific medical conditions or unique health requirements.

Features and Benefits of Dual Special Needs Plans may include:
